Hellenistai Project Media Reviews will willingly take just about any free swag you wish to send us, but you can guarantee it will get reviewed if you send media that has potential interest to Hellenic polytheists; if it doesn’t involved ancient Greece, the ancient Greek deities, or (within reason) similar topics, it’s probably not going to get a review.
Hellenistai Project will take all sorts of media for review: books, (both fiction and non-fiction; hard-copies preferred, eBooks acceptable if it’s the entire book in PDF or other format compatible with Kindle or Nook), DVD films, VHS films, music albums (preferably on LP, CD; mp3 albums are acceptable if you send the entire album), card games, board games, video games, and potentially other media.
At this time, you have to e-mail admin [at] hellenistai.com to obtain an address of where to send media items. When a POBox is secured, that will be posted so that you can freely send items.
Please note:
Simply sending an item will neither guarantee a review, nor a necessarily good review. This is a non-profit blog (we don’t even take adverts, but donations to site costs are always accepted) maintained by Hellenic polytheists, and items will be reviewed with not only the spirit of the media in mind, but the respect given to the polytheist history of ancient Hellas, her Gods, and their worshippers. Material deemed offensive will be reviewed as such, unless its so repugnant we won’t even dignify it with the free advertisement a review will give.
