Astrology spread to the rest of the Mediterranean, and ultimately Europe through the Hellenes (who learned it through the Babylonians or "Chaldeans" — Chaldean wisdom" was practically synonymous with "Astrology" for many ancient Hellenes). Today astrology is practiced by at least some people of nearly all Western religions, and even some Hellenists practise it. It can be discussed here.
Discussion of practises, both ancient and modern, that might be considered under the "witchcraft and folk magic" umbrella by modern Anglosphere definitions and standards. PLEASE NOTE: For the purposes of this forum, "Hellenic Wicca" is considered a syncretic path that incorporates the Hellenic pantheon and some Hellenic practises into a Wiccan practise model. Hellenic Wicca discussion should be in the appropriate sub-forum.
